Organized by the EITEP Institute, the 19th Pipeline Technology Conference will take place from 8 - 11 April 2024 at the Estrel Congress Center in Berlin. The ptc Exhibition is scheduled from 9 - 11 April 2024.
The ptc stands as one of the world's premier pipeline events, drawing professionals from around the globe. It's a hub for collaboration and the sharing of experiences across various sectors.

Your booth will be equipped with the items and services detailed below. For any additional equipment, prints, or materials, please utilize our exhibitor shop by the deadline of 8 March 2024.
If you're not hiring a custom booth constructor, your standard booth will be set up and ready for occupancy on Monday, 8 April 2024, at 18:00.
Standard Booth Inclusions:
For waste disposal for small items before and after the event self-service trash bins will be provided at central points for this purpose.
If you're considering designing a custom booth instead of utilizing the materials included in your booking, it's essential to discuss specifics like stand height, fire safety measures, construction timing, and logistics with us at your earliest convenience.
You're free to hire a construction company for your booth setup. If you're still searching for one, we recommend our trusted partner, expofair. They can either handle the construction or suggest reliable construction firms in the area.
Enhance the prominence of your presentation by suspending materials, such as banners, from the ceiling directly above your booth.
This service requires a minimum of 2 hanging points. The exact cost varies based on the booth's
position within the hall and the intricacy of the setup. As a rough estimate, 2 suspension points from
the rigging might be priced at 1,000 EUR + VAT.
Please contact us to determine the exact costs and to coordinate construction.
Limitations:
It's crucial to ensure timely delivery by coordinating well in advance of the event's start date.
To showcase your company’s products more prominently, consider displaying them as exhibits outside your booth within the event area.
Price: 50 Euro/sqm + VAT, with a minimum booking of 4 sqm.
Logistics Note: On-site logistics will be overseen by BISCHOFF Event Service & Transport (details provided below). This might result in additional charges. Furthermore, BISCHOFF can handle the entire logistics process, starting from your location.

Booth Setup: If you opt against constructing an individual stand, your booth will be available to move-in on:
Move-out is required on Thursday, 11 April 2024, between 14:00 and 17:00.
On these time slots, you can access event grounds only using your stand personnel tickets. Regular visitors are not allowed at this time.
You can deliver your materials to the venue and your booth in several ways: personnally, via parcel post, or through a
freight forwarder
Please make sure to adhere to the applicable customs regulations and procedures, and ensure that all necessary documents and paperwork are properly filled out when importing goods into Germany.
In case of any doubt, please contact a customs agency.
We recommend using Bischoff Event & Logistic, for your logistics.
More details are provided later in this manual.
If you're bringing / picking up materials and stand equipment by car, the designated times are:
Access through Gate 1 (on Ziegrastraße in front of the Estrel Hotel) requires a temporary deposit of 50 Euro. This grants 1 hour of free access to the loading area. If you exit through Gate 3 within the hour, your deposit will be refunded.
Please use the road and entrances solely for unloading (Monday) / loading (Thursday). To ensure smooth operations for all exhibitors, promptly vacate the area after you're done. When departing, exit through Gate 3.
For stand and logistics companies, individual arrangements can be made. Please contact us for more details.
The Estrel provides its own underground parking garage with a capacity of 450 spaces. Entry is via Ziegrastraße. The maximum daily rate is 22 EUR (as of September 2023).
Another parking option is the “Ziegrastraße 1” open air car park (open link for a map as of February 2023). Suitable for cars and vehicles under 7.5 t, this car park is available for a fee without any restrictions. Please be aware that the maximum entry height is 3.50 m, making it unsuitable for larger vehicles or articulated lorries. The daily rate for parking here is 12 EUR (as of February 2023). Conveniently, it's located just a 5-minute walk from the Estrel's main entrance.
The venue (Estrel) does not offer storage for parcels before, after or during ptc. If you still wish to send parcels directly to the event, send them directly to your hotel room during your stay or with a courier / freight forwarder directly to your booth.
As an alternative, you may also send your materials to our freight forwarder, Bischoff, who will do the handling and deliver them to your booth.
Large goods can be sent to the event grounds directly. Delivery is possible all day on 8 April 2023 by prior arrangement, collection on 11 April 2023 from 4 pm. Please ensure that we are notified of the delivery time by telephone in good time so that preparations can be made if necessary. Delivery can be made at ground level to the booth. The use of pallet trucks (rollers for indoor use!) is possible, forklifts are not.
For the transport of large goods we recommend the company Bischoff.
EITEP has partnered with a recommended freight forwarder to simplify your logistics needs. BISCHOFF Event Service & Transport provides comprehensive logistical services before, during, and after the event. This includes the long-term storage and transport of larger items. If their services align with your requirements, please reach out to Mr. Ulf Bischoff at your earliest convenience:

For fire safety reasons, storing large quantities of containers in the storage areas or rooms of your booth is strictly prohibited.
We strongly recommend using BISCHOFF Event Service & Transport’s warehouse for storing larger quantities. This ensures compliance with fire safety regulations.
Note: BISCHOFF Event Service & Transport holds the exclusive right to provide and operate forklift trucks for unloading and loading at this event. External forklift trucks from other forwarding agents or service providers are strictly prohibited.
However, exhibitors or stand builders have the flexibility to choose any forwarding agent for transportation to and from the exhibition. They are also permitted to use lifting platforms for unloading and loading tasks, or to store empties on their vehicles.
The 19th Pipeline Technology Conference will be held from 8 – 11 April 2024 at the Estrel Congress Center (ECC), Berlin, Germany. The ptc Exhibition will be hosted in Convention Hall II and Saal Europa, while the ptc Conference, ptc Seminars, Global Women Forum, and larger meetings and workshops will be in ECC’s EAMC building, located beneath the Convention Hall II.
ptc 2024 kicks off on Monday, 8 April with ptc Seminars, the Global Women Forum, exhibition setup, and the exclusive ptc Meetup. The ptc Exhibition and Conference begin on Tuesday, 9 April, starting with a welcome coffee in the exhibition hall. The event concludes on Thursday, 11 April with lunch in the exhibition hall, followed by ptc Workshops and Round tables in the afternoon.

The 19th Pipeline Technology Conference is set to be hosted at the Estrel Berlin, one of Europe’s most expansive convention and hotel complexes.
The Estrel seamlessly merges a First Class Superior hotel, boasting over 1000 beds, with an expansive Congress and Convention area within a single architectural ensemble.
Both the Exhibition and Conference will be held within the same building. All breaks are scheduled to occur within the exhibition area.

The two Atrium bars serve as popular gathering spots for ptc participants, especially after an
exhaustive conference day, following ptc get-together on Tuesday evening and the Dinner Invitation night on Wednesday evening.

Even though the Estrel, with its capacity of over 1,000 beds, stands as Germany’s largest hotel, it's expected to be fully booked during ptc 2024.

If you're considering having your stand custom-built by a stand construction company, these guidelines are crucial. However, if you don't plan on this or intend to use Expofair for stand construction, most sections of this document may not be relevant to you.
